Meet James F. Hearn, Sr. Attorney at Law
James F. Hearn, Sr. has been practicing law since 1987. He is a graduate of The Defiance College (1976) and the University of Toledo College of Law (1986).
Through his years of practice Mr. Hearn has concentrated on legal matters that involve family issues and conflicts, including Adoption, Divorce, Custody, Estate Planning, and Real Estate. Mr. Hearn is also experienced with Guardianship Law and various areas of Probate Law, including settling Estates.
Mr. Hearn has also represented small business owners involving debt collection, business organization (corporations, LLC’s), landlord/tenant matters, and contract disputes.
For the past ten years Mr. Hearn has served as Acting Judge for the Auglaize County Municipal Court, giving him the opportunity to experience the Courtroom from both the litigator’s perspective and the bench.
Mr. Hearn is a member of the Auglaize County Bar Association, the Allen County Bar Association, and the Ohio Bar Association.
Meet James F. Hearn, Jr., Attorney at Law
James F. Hearn, Jr. is a 1998 graduate of Wapakoneta High School and he received his Bachelor’s Degree in History from The University of Toledo in 2004.
After returning home to Wapakoneta and working for a few years, Jim attended The University of Toledo College of Law, where he graduated in 2012. During his time at UTLaw Jim interned for the Auglaize County Public Defender's Office.
Unfortunately, Jim was hospitalized for a significant amount of time just before graduating law school. After recovering his health and passing the bar exam, Jim was admitted to the Bar in May of 2014 and began to practice law with The Hearn Law Office. Jim also is an Assistant Public Defender for Auglaize County, Ohio.
Jim practices and is experienced all areas of criminal law as well as handling domestic relations issues, custody situations and family law in Auglaize County and the surrounding area.
Jim is a member of the Auglaize County Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, The Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys and the Wapakoneta Breakfast Optimist Club. In his free time you can find Jim enjoying time with his wife, Jessica, and their two dogs.
Meet Thomas J. Lucente, Jr., Attorney at Law
Thomas J. Lucente Jr. has practiced law since 2013. He largely practices in Allen, Auglaize, Mercer, and Van Wert Counties and concentrates mostly on criminal law (Felonies and Misdemeanors), criminal appeals, domestic relations (Divorce, Dissolutions, Custody), wills and probate. He is an assistant public defender in Van Wert County and takes court appointments in Allen, Auglaize and Mercer counties for indigent defendants.
Lucente is a 1985 graduate of Chaminade-Julienne High School in Dayton, Ohio. He has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Maryland and graduated from the University of Toledo College of Law in 2012.
He is an Iraq War veteran, dual citizen of Italy and the United States, and vice president of the Auglaize County Bar Association. He is a member of the Allen County Bar Association Ohio State Bar Association, and Ohio Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. He is on the boards of Legal Aid of Western Ohio, Advocates for Basic Legal Equality, Allen County Law Library Resources Board and the Charitable Italian-American Organization (CAIO). He is also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Veterans of Foreign Wars and American Legion.
He is licensed to practice in Ohio and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court, Northern District of Ohio.
Meet Gloria A. Dicke, Attorney at Law
Gloria A. Dicke has been in practice since 2019. She is a graduate of the University of St. Francis in Fort Wayne, IN, and the Ohio Northern University Pettit College of Law in Ada, OH.

She has concentrated her law practice in family law issues and conflicts, including adoption, divorce, custody, paternity, child services’ neglect, dependent and abused cases, guardianships, and guardian ad litem services. She has also represented clients on appeals in the Third District Court of Appeals in Allen County concerning these areas of practice.
